We are excited to have a new date and venue for our festival that was forced to be rescheduled. The Moorpark Film Festival will now screen our independent features and shorts at Studio Movie Grill in Simi Valley on September 25th, 2021.

 

Moorpark Film Festival films are screened in a theatrical setting. We strive to promote the theatrical viewing experience, especially to our youth, which is why we have included a student competition. 

 

The Jury panel will be made up of motion picture industry professionals with years of filmmaking experience. Their knowledge will be crucial to helping filmmakers grow and hone in their skills.  There will be a jury award for each category and an audience choice award for each category.  High value camera rental credits at Shadowcast Pictures and other prizes will be awarded.
